"Juridical Seminar on “Directors Liability according to Belgian Law”

Guest speaker Mr. Dirk Berckmans, Senior Partner and specialist in Belgian and international Corporate Law presented the topic of the day, “Directors’ Liability according to Belgian Law”, is a very actual and important issue for all those who hold a position of director in the Board of a Belgian juridical entity. Indeed, since 2006 the Belgian Law on this topic was modified in the sense that Directors can be held more easily personally responsible in relation to their function in a company or an association. The Belgian legislator modified the Law in an effort to make this issue more transparent and structured.
