BLBC visited the internationally renowned Institute for Nuclear Physics of the Catholic University of Louvain-la-Neuve (UCL) under guidance of its Head, Lebanese born Prof. Youssef El Masri.
Prof. El Masri and some members of his research team gave an interesting and comprehensible introduction to the complex field of nuclear physics and its myriad of everyday applications (ranging from medicine and aeronautics to simple devices we use in our house).
