"Visit to Lebanon 2 Weeks after the War in July 2006"

BLBC’s support and solidarity towards Lebanon was emphasized when Mr. Hikmat Nasser, representing BLBC, made the rigorous journey through Syria to get to Lebanon just two weeks after the bombings from Israel ceased in July 2006.

His visit was to witness a 1st hand view of the dramatic destruction of infrastructure and loss of Lebanese lives all over Lebanon, and to play an active part in rendering any form of assistance to charities and to Lebanon as whole.

Numerous photos of the destruction were taken by Mr. Nasser. The photos displayed the sad reality of brutal destruction of residential areas, hospitals, schools roads and numerous important bridges in Lebanon.
